These unique oxidised silver textured earrings have been designed by the talented contemporary jeweller Emily Kidson.
Emily explores shape, colour and material in her collections, drawing on inspiration from old industrial buildings.
These small oxidised silver textured earrings sit lightly on the ear and are perfect as a gift for a loved one.
Made from recycled sterling silver, with a subtle texture along with delicately applied hammer shapes applied by hand and then oxidised to create the blackened silver look.
Due to the way in which these earrings have been handcrafted, there will always be a slight variation in the pattern.
The earrings measure approximately: (h) 16mm x (W) 23mm x (D) 0.7mm
Every piece is made meticulously by hand in her London Studio based in Cockpit Arts. She uses an array of techniques including silver inlay, traditional jewellery methods and more. You will notice that Emilyโs work is finished to perfection, every element is thought through inviting the wearer to explore the piece front to back.
Emily is taking part in our Spring Showcase until May 31st along with contemporary jewellers Rosita Bonita and Sally Collins. We invite you all to see the jewellers work in person at our Clifton Gallery.
