This long orange bell silver necklace makes really pops and we love it! Designed and created by the talented contemporary jeweller Emily Kidson.
Emily creates playful jewellery inspired by colour and shape, allowing the wearer to get creative with their jewellery.ย The colour in her work comes from her use of Formica and material used in furniture, the good thing about Formica is that the colour does not fade.
This long orange bell silver necklace can be worn long or wrapped around twice to make the necklace shorter. This necklace really is perfect gift for a loved one who loves colourful style.
The Formica consists of orange laminate with walnut in the middle with each shape being cut by hand. The chain is made from sterling silver and then oxidised to create the blackened silver look.
Chain length: 36″
Every piece is made meticulously by hand in her London Studio based in Cockpit Arts. She uses an array of techniques including silver inlay, traditional jewellery methods and more. You will notice that Emilyโs work is finished to perfection, every element is thought through inviting the wearer to explore the piece of jewellery front to back.
Emily is taking part in our Spring Showcase until May 31st along with contemporary jewellers Rosita Bonita and Sally Collins. We invite you all to see the jewellers work in person at our Clifton Gallery.
