Right next door to our Clifton Rocks shop is the beautiful Belle de Jour. Owner Kika opened this gorgeous floristry shop back in 2005, after working at the Toulouse flower market in France for years.
We always love to see what's on display outside the shop - she creates her incredible sustainable floral designs using only the best seasonal flowers.
As the name suggests, The Mall is on the same road as Clifton Rocks - in fact it's our local, just across the road from our shop.
It's a lovely big pub with a delicious food and drinks menu, intimate dining options and cosy private areas, perfect to toast to your wedding planning and to celebrate in after your wedding ceremony.
A couple of doors down from The Mall is Geeves, another well-loved indie in Clifton Village. Specialising in dry-cleaning and repairs, they're always our go-to.
Whether you need alterations made before the big day, or a wedding dress cleaning service after you've partied hard, you can be sure they'll take real care with your special garments.
Why not stop in at number 48 The Mall for a relaxing couple's mani-pedi at Townhouse during your wedding planning day?
While you're there, you could chat about your wedding day nails over a lovely hand massage - will you go for bold, funky nail art for your wedding look or something more subtle?
It's not just about looking good, you want to smell good on your wedding day too, right?
Next door to Townhouse you'll find perfumery Shy Mimosa - we love popping in for a heady scent-testing session.
Owner Maria is a real visionary in high-end and exclusive perfumes, and can help you find the right fragrance for your special day.
Continuing your romantic meander down The Mall, you'll find Forest & the Flowers at number 23, opposite Shy Mimosa.
It's always a pleasure to visit this gorgeously unique boutique floral design store, and to see Camila carefully craft special floral arrangements in her colourful shop.
Right next door to Forest and the Flowers you'll find The Mews Bridal, who have been selling the most beautiful bridal wear here in Clifton Village for over 12 years.
A visit to their gorgeous showroom is always a luxurious affair, and you might just find the one amongst their effortlessly chic hand-picked French wedding dresses.
After all that, you probably need a sit-down and some delicious refreshments.
On the corner of the lovely Mall Gardens is The Ivy, serving up elevated classic British dishes from morning 'til night.
It's casual enough for a spot of wedding planning over lunch, but they also have an orangery and two private dining rooms, which could just be perfect for your wedding breakfast.
If that wasn't enough sitting down, take a short walk down Caledonia Place to our favourite place for a drink in the sunshine. The Bristol Avon Gorge Hotel du Vin has the best view of our famous Clifton Suspension Bridge,
It also has the most gorgeously romantic rooms (pictured is the signature suite) and charming private dining rooms for 12-300 wedding guests - ask for a tour while you're there!
Walking back through Clifton Village to Waterloo Street, here you'll find Lisa Elliott Floral Design, which has been a much-loved part of the Clifton Village community for over 20 years.
Chat to the lovely Katie about your wedding flowers - she's a dab-hand creating memorable floral displays for special couples.
Now this is a wedding venue. With grand fireplaces, stripped wood floors, perfect lighting and a grassy garden, we highly recommend booking in for a romantic meal at No4 to see if it's the wedding venue for you.
You can hold your ceremony and reception in the same space, plus they have an adjoining hotel, so you can fall into bed with your love ASAP.
Wedding planning over a slice of cake just makes sense. As well as being one of our favourite wedding bakeries, Anna Cake Couture is a must-mooch venue in the heart of Clifton Village.
Make sure to stop by to try their signature macarons and admire their perfectly-decorated cakes. The only difficulty will be choosing a flavour for your wedding cake - they're all so delicious.
Clifton Suits is always our top choice for expertly-made get-up, whether you're after a tailor-made suit, off-the-rack, or a suit for hire.
They're a little outside Clifton Village on The Triangle, but it's worth popping in to learn more about their amazing wedding packages and see all their gorgeous fabrics in person.
Lido is our favourite place for a spot of luxurious relaxation, and although it's also not in Clifton Village, it's not far away and is a good idea to visit.
With a beautiful outdoor pool, sauna, and hot tub on offer, as well as massage treatments (is that wedding planning getting a little stressful?) and a gorgeous restaurant, it's a real treat for you wedding-planning couples and newly-weds alike.
Naomi isn't technically based in Clifton Village, but she is our favourite photographer (she takes lots of the Clifton Rocks photos) and can travel to your wedding location.
Imagine wandering the beautiful streets of Clifton Village on your wedding day as she takes your photos... She's exceptional at capturing those magical moments, so that you can treasure them forever.
I think you’ve got pretty much everything you should need for a wedding planning day out in Clifton Village, but if you need a few refreshments along the way, we love Catley’s for epic pastries, East Village Cafe for delicious vegan lunches, and Primrose Café – which is a bit of an institution in Bristol, having been around for over 30 years!
