This chunky minimalist geometric silver bangle was designed by our in-house designer Rebecca Boatfield as part of the Clifton Rocks annual group project.
Rebecca’s chunky minimalist geometric silver bangle is a stunning statement piece. The inspiration came in the form of a watch, Rebecca liked the idea of creating a chunky bangle that could be mistaken for a watch. With this in mind she created a simple watch silhouette and added a cut out detail. To give the bangle texture she applied a hammered polished finish, which sparkles in the light.
Rebecca is inspired by geometric forms found in architecture, the urban environment and the natural world. Using this as a foundation Rebecca explores how these concepts can translate into metal. Creating unique and striking pieces that have a genderless and timeless feel.

The Clifton Rocks team project is something we started in 2018 as a way to nurture and showcase the creative talent of our team and keep the creativity flowing by bouncing ideas off each other. The project was titled ‘five gold rings’, one made by each member of the team. The following year we marked our 10 year anniversary by creating our Decadence collection – jewellery inspired by the number 10.
Previous projects have included stacking rings, signet rings and pearl earrings.
This year the annual project was to design a Bangle. Each team member has designed and handmade a bangle in their own unique style and we invite you to see our Bangle exhibition at Clifton Rocks.
